Mantia, Kilmer marry in Dwight
Couple share vows on June 30, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Church
DWIGHT, Ill. — Melissa Ann Mantia of Dwight was married to Timothy Verl Kilmer of Mazon Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dwight. Father James Rickey officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Suzanne (Keigher) Mantia of Dwight. The paternal grandparents of the bride are the late Anthony and Dorothy Mantia of Channahon, and maternal grandparents are Mary Keigher and the late Raymond Keigher of Elwood, Ill.
The groom is the son of the late Jane (Hroza) Kilmer and Darryl and Kaye Kilmer of Mazon. The paternal grandparents of the groom are Mary and Richard Kilmer of rural Dwight, and maternal grandparents are Thomas Hroza and the late Deloris Hroza of Downer’s Grove, Ill.
Her father escorted her down the aisle. She wore a white A-line gown trimmed with beading and lace, accompanied with her late grandmother’s wedding ring. She carried a bouquet of assorted lilies and gerbera daisies.
Following a reception at the Country Mansion in Dwight, the couple left for a cruise to the Caribbean Islands.
They reside in rural Mazon, where Timothy is a local farmer and Melissa is employed with the Grundy County Special Education Cooperative of Morris.
