Marseilles man pleads guilty to heroin charge

Dennis J. Prairie Jr., 28, of Marseilles, pleaded guilty to a Nov. 16, 2010 Illinois State Police charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, heroin, a Class 4 felony.

He was sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge and ordered to pay $1,085 in fees and costs.

He was also ordered to serve 90 days at the Grundy County jail with credit for 42 days served.
