Sprinkler demonstrations planned at open houses
Coal City, Channahon departments hosting Prevention Week events
In cooperation with two local fire departments, the nonprofit Northern Illinois Fire Sprinkler Advisory Board will host live fire and sprinkler burn demonstrations today.
The demonstration will take place at the Coal City and Channahon fire protection district open houses, which are being held as part of national Fire Prevention Week, which concludes Saturday.
