Early voting for Nov. 6 election begins today

Last day to cast Early Voter Ballot is Nov. 3

Early voting in Grundy County for the Nov. 6 General Election begins today, Monday, Oct. 22.

Grundy County Clerk Lana Phillips reminds voters that the last day to cast an Early Voter Ballot, in-person, is Saturday, Nov. 3. Regular absentee balloting resumes Monday, Nov. 5.

The last day the County Clerk's office will be able to process an absentee application and mail a ballot is no later than 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1.

Anyone who would like an application mailed to them, or those who would like to vote in-person, the office hours at the County Clerk's office are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the following exceptions:

• Tuesday, Oct. 23 — 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

• Saturday, Oct. 27 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Sunday, Oct. 28 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 30 — 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 3 — 9 a.m. to noon
