District 54, father settle lawsuit over student’s injury
A lawsuit filed against Morris Elementary School District 54 in 2010 has been settled.
According to court records, in late July the district offered a settlement of $22,000 in the case filed by Darrell Reyes, a father of 9-year-old student who had two fingers severed by a bathroom door at White Oak Elementary School in May 2009.
