Driver safety class offered Nov. 1-2

Morris Hospital will host a Driver Safety Class on Thursday, Nov. 1 and Friday, Nov. 2.

This class will be of special interest to veterans; both retired and active and their dependents.

Veterans will be able to attend at no charge for the course.

Veterans (both active and retired) are defined as: persons who have served in any of the service branches; reserves; and Coast and National Guard.

Dependents are defined as spouses (including widows or widowers); domestic partners; and children.

The course consists of two four hour days beginning Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. and will conclude on Nov. 2. The class will be held in the Whitman Education Room at the hospital, 150 West High St. in Morris.

AARP has indicated that they might not offer the veteran’s discount next year.
