Hospital offers diabetes support

Three sessions scheduled are for the month of November

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has announced its schedule of free diabetes education programs for November. All of the November diabetes education program will be held at Morris Hospital.

The Carb Counting Class will be offered on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. This month’s focus is advanced carb counting, with instruction given on carb ratios in relation to insulin, along with a more in-depth look at label reading. This class is recommended for insulin dependent diabetics and those who want to address the fat, sodium and fiber components of the food label.
