Beta Sigma Phi meets for monthly gathering

The Morris, IL Xi Nu Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met in the home of Marla Mengarelli (Seneca) on Oct. 9, for their regular monthly meeting.  President Terry Wise (Morris) presided over the meeting with six members present.

All members will sell chocolate covered nuts and raisins in November to raise money for the different service projects planned for the coming year. The social planned for Oct. 27 was an evening of games in the home of Diane Mahaffay (Channahon). 

After the business meeting, the hostess demonstrated the simple task of making fried donuts. These were then enjoyed along with hot apple cider. The next business meeting will be on Nov. 13.
