Sleeping person arrested for possession of marijuana

Minooka police cited Jonathan L. Cox, 27, of Morris, for drug charges after being called to the Minooka BP Friday afternoon.

According to a Minooka Police Department report, at about 4:40 p.m., the department responded to a report of a subject sleeping at the pumps at the gas station, which is located in the 100 block of N. Ridge Road.

An officer found Cox was in possession of drug paraphernalia and less than 2.5 grams of cannabis. He was cited for possessing both and was released from custody.
