Ag producers eligible for air quality initative
Agricultural producers in Grundy and Kendall counties are among those eligible for financial assistance for implementing conservation practices that help to improve air quality.
The 2013 Air Quality Initiative of the Environmental Quality Incentives Program can provide incentive dollars to implement cover crops, nutrient management, no-till, strip-till, drainage water management and tree planting. Applications should be submitted to the local Natural Resources Conservation Service Field Office by Friday, Nov. 16.
