Parent tells police vehicle was damaged in high school lot

A parent of a Morris Community High School student reported damage to her vehicle that was parked at the school on Nov. 14.

According to the Morris Police Department report, the incident was reported at about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14. The incident allegedly took place the day before in the parking lot at the school, located in the 1000 block of Union Street.

A woman told police her daughter had taken her car to school and the entire driver’s side was scratched down to the metal.
