Babin convicted in string of burglaries
Sentenced to 9 1/2 years in IDOC
A Peotone man has been convicted for a string of residential burglaries in Grundy and Kendall counties that took place in June.
According to a Kendall County State's Attorney's Office press release, on Tuesday, Nov. 13, Brian A. Babin, 33, pleaded guilty to counts of residential burglary and attempted residential burglary and was convicted on both.
Babin was sentenced to 9 1/2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the residential burglary count, to be served concurrently with a seven-year sentence for the attempted residential burglary.
