Loop rescue: Man pulled from LaSalle Street bridge
(MCT) — For nearly an hour, police and firefighters waited out the man as he stood at the edge of a Loop bridge in the freezing cold and threatened to jump.
A helicopter hovered nearby. Two boats stayed at the ready in the Chicago River below.
