The Morris Area Public Library’s free December movie night for adults will take place oat 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20.

The library will feature the Christmas movie, “Christmas with the Kranks,” based on the best-selling novel, “Skipping Christmas” by John Grisham.

Luther Krank decides that, for once, he and his wife will skip the insane version of Christmas that their neighborhood has created and just go to the Caribbean instead. When his daughter decides at the last minute to come home for the holidays, he and his wife Nora must perform a Christmas miracle to get the presents, decorations and food ready in time.

This movie is free and open to all adults. Refreshments will be provided. Please visit the library or call (815) 942-6880 to register for seating and refreshments.

The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 Liberty St. in Morris.
