Authorities: Cold exposure causes man's death at UIC
(MCT) — The death of a 42-year-old homeless man who collapsed on a jogging track at a University of Illinois at Chicago athletic field Saturday marked at least the second cold related death of the season so far, officials say.
An autopsy Sunday found Thomas Grubb, who was homeless, died of hypothermia and cold exposure and his death was ruled an accident, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
