Indictments returned against 13
The Grand Jury of the Grundy County Circuit Court met Dec. 5 and came back with the following indictments:
• Esmael B. Teixeira, 29, was indicted on a Nov. 7 charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, a Class 3 felony, and unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony. According to the indictment Teixeira was in possession of more than 500 grams, but less than 2,000 grams of a substance containing cannabis. Illinois State Trooper Ken Gurney testified before the grand jury.
