District 111 board plans to address vacancy

MINOOKA – The Minooka Community High School District 111 Board of Education has declared a vacancy, and will appoint a member from the district’s unincorporated area for approximately a 4-month term of office.

Interested citizens who are registered voters and reside in the unincorporated area of the district should provide a letter of interest with sufficient supporting information so that the board can evaluate their candidacy.

Letters are due to the Minooka Community High School District 111 Superintendent’s Office at 26655 West Eames St. in Channahon, Illinois by Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.

The board of education plans to seat the new board member at the Jan. 17, 2013, regular board of education meeting scheduled to be held at the Central Campus Career Center at 6:30 p.m.
