Mr. Kenneth Jerome Coveny, 91, of Aurora, Ill., and formerly of Kinsman, Ill., and Morris, Ill., passed away Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 18, 2012, at home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington St. (one block east of Illinois 47) in Morris. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 219 Emmett St., Kinsman, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Rev. John J. Hornicak officiating. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ransom.
 
Born March 2, 1921, in Streator, Ill., Kenneth was a son of the late Lorenzo and Julia Curtin-Coveny. He was raised and educated in Kinsman and Mazon, Ill., and was a graduate of Mazon High School.
