Heartland Blood Centers holds area blood drives this month
In celebration of January National Blood Donor Month, Heartland Blood Centers, an independent not-for-profit blood center serving 47 hospitals in a 12-county region in Illinois and Indiana, invites all healthy members of the community to share their good health through blood donation.
January is the highest transfusion month of the year as patients who can delay their non-emergency surgeries and treatments do so until after the holidays.
