Photo tour gives glimpse of prairie
‘Photographic Journey’ set for Jan. 31 at Midewin
WILMINGTON — The Thursday Night Lecture Series at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie on Jan. 31, will present “Peacock Prairie – A Photographic Journey.”
The public is invited to join photographer Frank Mayfield, who will give an artful photographic tour of the Peacock Prairie at the James H. Woodworth Prairie Preserve, a tiny gem in the necklace of urban wilderness in the Chicago area.
