Board greenlights Caton Farm Road widening

Work to begin in spring and last for 18 months

JOLIET, Ill. –  The Will County Board has approved a nearly $7.4 million contract to widen 1.4 miles of Caton Farm Road, from County Line Road to just west of Drauden Road, beginning this spring.

Once the project is complete, Caton Farm will be four lanes from County Line to just west of U.S. 30.

“The Caton Farm Road widening project is an important piece of our Build Will road construction program,” said Walter Adamic (D-Joliet), chairman of the public works and transportation committee. “Adding additional lanes in this growing section of the county will improve traffic flow and maintain a safe driving environment for motorists.”
