OAKDALE, Calif. — Kathryn A. (Lutz) Mallcheck, 59, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in Oakdale, Calif., after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born in Morris, she graduated from Morris Community High School Class of 1972. In her younger years, she was employed at Weitz's Cafe. After marrying in Morris, she lived the majority of her married life in California.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Greg Mallcheck; one son, Garrett; her parents, Frank and Beverly (Scott) Lutz, Jr.; one brother, Jim (Brenda) Lutz; two sisters, Mary (Charles) Sparrow and Lisa (Lon) Vernnon; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
