UTICA, Ill. — Bill Myers, the Starved Rock State Park Storyteller, will tell stories for all ages at the Starved Rock State Park Visitors Center at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2.

This program is designed for families — children of all ages, parents and grandmas and grandpas. Some tales will make kids jump in a fun way so as not to scare the wee ones. Included in the story line-up are Myers’ classic Tennessee folk tale “Taily-P.” a rap version of “The Three Billy Goats Gruff: and “Return of the Native” by the late Robert Taylor Burns, which relates the story of Starved Rock from the Native American point of view.

Open to the public free of charge, Myers’ storytelling at the Visitors Center is sponsored by the Starved Rock Foundation.

Other dates scheduled for Myer’s storytelling are March 16 (an Irish special for St. Patrick’s Day) and April 13.
