Shirley Ann Hack
COAL CITY — Mrs. Shirley Ann Hack, 83, of Coal City, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 2, 2013, at her home.
Born April 24, 1929, in Morris, Shirley was a daughter of the late Alfred Frey and Laura (Kanimecamp) Conklin. She was raised in Morris and resided throughout the years in Morris, Wilmington and Coal City.
Shirley held employment at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant, as well as with Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet. Most recently, Shirley worked as a correctional officer at the Dwight Correctional Center, from where she retired in 1992.
