Howard L. Cardwell
ELWOOD, Ill. — Mr. Howard L. Cardwell, 91, of Elwood, Ill., passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Ann, by his side Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.
On Dec. 4, 1942, Howard was inducted into the United States Army and served in the Artillery 384th F.A.B.N 103rd Division throughout France, Germany and Austria during WWII.
Per Howard’s request, cremation rites have been accorded. A private family inurnment with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
