Man wounded after robber warns, 'Don't run or I'll just start shooting'
(MCT) — A man was shot and seriously wounded during a robbery on the Far South Side as a motorist tried to thwart the hold-up by running into one of the robbers, police said.
The man, 24, was walking with another man, 22, when two robbers approached them at the intersection of 96th Street and Clyde Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a police report.
