Dunn won’t forget White Sox’s collapse in September

(MCT) — GLENDALE, Ariz. — Adam Dunn hopes the sting of blowing a three-game lead in the AL Central with 15 games remaining last season sticks with his White Sox teammates as much as it does with him.

“I’m sure everybody’s going to say ‘start over with a clean slate,’ but I don’t want to forget about last year,” said Dunn, who was 7-for-55 (.127) with 25 strikeouts in his final 15 games. “That’s something I want to remember, how it felt basically getting knocked out of first place, because I know I didn’t like it very much and I don’t want it to happen again.
