Dunn goes deep for White Sox
(MCT) — GLENDALE, Ariz. — Adam Dunn showed the benefits of his mission to swing earlier in counts, hitting a two-run homer Sunday on a 1-0 count off Dodgers sidearm reliever Peter Moylan.
“I was just going to try to get a pitch and the location I was looking to swing at it,” said Dunn, who said he is concentrating more on location than a certain pitch in an effort to stay out of 3-2 counts after hitting .118 with 65 strikeouts in those situations last season.
