Hunter safety education courses offered in April

Grundy County Sheriff Kevin Callahan’s office will host an Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Hunter Safety Education Course from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Saturday, April 13, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 14.

The class will be held in the Sheriff’s Department Training Room located in the lower level of the James L. Olson Law Enforcement Center at 111 E. Illinois Ave. in Morris.   

Area residents will have an opportunity to learn the basic principles of hunter safety during the two day course. 

To register for the class, or for additional information, contact the Sheriff’s Office at (815) 941-3122, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
