Fundraiser seeks to assist Harvey family

Proceeds will be used to pay for medical costs

Family and friends of David and Tracy Harvey of Minooka will hold a fundraiser at Chapin’s East in Minooka on March 15.

All proceeds will benefit the family and help them pay souring medical costs for Tracy’s cancer treatment. Tracy Harvey is a 42-year-old mother of three teenagers. She was diagnosed with brain cancer and is undergoing treatments, which include chemotherapy and radiation.

David’s family has been residents of Minooka for 32 years. David graduated from Minooka High in 1989.

Silent auction items are still being sought for the event to help raise funds; contact Joan Bjekich at (815) 744-7221 or (815) 302-0991.Donations are also being accepted at Private Bank locations in Minooka, Channahon and Joliet.

The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 15 at Chapin’s East on Twin Rail Drive in Minooka. There will be appetizers and a silent auction.
