Five-alarm fire engulfs Coal City warehouse

COAL CITY — A five-alarm fire engulfed a Coal City warehouse Wednesday night and continued to burn into the morning.

According to Nick Doerfler, spokesperson for the Coal City Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched just before midnight Wednesday to 235 E. Oak Street after a passerby called in the blaze.
