State police ticket driver in laundromat crash
The man who hit four stopped cars and plowed through the front of a laundromat in Morris last week was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Bill Fuentes.
Jason M. Lawford, 36, of Morris hit the cars at the intersection of Illinois 47 and High Street, where they were stopped at a stoplight, and then lost control of his pickup truck and smashed through the front of Soaps Laundromat at 304 E. High Street.
