The Saratoga Dist. 60C school board last week unanimously approved the plan to share buses with Morris Elementary Dist. 54 and Morris Community High School Dist. 101.

“The board definitely understood the savings this would provide,” said Superintendent Kathy Perry.

The board approved the measure 7-0.

Dist. 54 also approved the measure last Monday evening and Dist. 101 approved it March 11. With all parties approving, the measure will be implemented.

The Dist. 60C board also approved amending the staff workday from the current 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. hours to 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., reflecting the new staggered start time that will take effect next year.
