Baskin gets jail time for January burglary

Michael J. Baskin, 2310 Ashland Dr., was convicted of burglary, a Class 2 felony, and was sentenced to 120 days in the Grundy County Jail, with credit for 53 days.

His conviction came after a January charge of residential burglary to a Morris residence.

He was also sentenced to four years probation and ordered to pay almost $500 in court costs and fines, plus $20 a month in probation fees.
