Schwellenbach, Norris named to fall Dean’s list

URBANA — Two local students recently were named to the Dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at the University of Illinois.

Tanner Norris of Channahon, was named to the Fall 2012 Dean’s List at the University of Illinois.

Norris is a 2011 graduate of Minooka Community High School majoring in micro and cellular biology.

Matt Schwellenbach was also named to the Dean’s list. His GPA was 3.83 for the fall semester.

Schwellenbach is majoring in actuarial science. He is the son of Dave and Shelley Schwellenbach of Minooka.

The U of I’s Dean’s list recognizes students whose grade-point averages rank in the top 20 percent of their college, which for the 2012-13 school year is a minimum of 3.70 or higher.

Kundert honored at IIT

CHICAGO — Carla Kundert, a 2010 graduate of Minooka Community High School, was named to the Fall 2012 Dean’s list at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
Kundert is studying psychology. She is the daughter of Steve and Cheryl Kundert of Minooka, and the granddaughter of Don and Connie Kundert and the late Lou and Dan Carr.
