Two would-be thiefs thwarted at Walmart

Two separate attempts to rob Walmart in Morris Saturday, May 11, resulted in the arrests of two Morris men.

Joshua M. Layne, 35, was arrested by Morris police on a charge of retail theft just after 2:30 p.m. that day.

Then, at 6:35 p.m., Jacob J. Severson, was arrested by Morris police for retail theft.

Each posted bond and was released with June 3 court dates.
