Restaurant owner to share grilling tips

W2W luncheon slated July 9

YORKVILLE, Ill — The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce Woman 2 Woman will host this month’s luncheon Tuesday, July 9, at the newly opened and remodeled Kennedy Point Restaurant & Pub located at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in Bristol.

Jay DeMarco, owner of Kennedy Point Restaurant, will present this month’s fun and informative summer program.

With 17 years of experience in the restaurant business, managing some of the greatest restaurants in the Chicago area — from Fairbank’s Steakhouse at Hollywood Casino to Rose-bud Italian Restaurant, — DeMarco will share grilling tips and techniques as he prepares our outdoor lunch.  This event will enhance the abilities of any grilling chef, so make sure you attend.

W2W will also be hosting an additional event in July — Chamber Improv Comedy Night at Rivers Edge Theatre and Cobblestone Bakery & Bistro in Yorkville on Friday, July 19.

Appetizer reception begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Improv Show from 7 to 9 p.m.  Bring your spouse, bring your friends, bring a group for this special evening filled with networking, great food, and plenty of laughs.

There is limited seating, so contact the Yorkville Chamber to RSVP by July 8.

The W2W luncheon will take place at Kennedy Point Restaurant & Pub, located at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in Bristol, 2245 Kennedy Road, Bristol, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9.
