Morris Public Library’s Vintage Craft program scheduled for July 23

Published: Wednesday, July 10, 2013 4:49 p.m. CDT

Are you running out of ideas for party decorations?

The Morris Area Public Library is offering a July Vintage Craft program at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 that aims to teach how to make dahlia pom-poms.

The pom poms provide bursts of color dance above a table, imparting a cheerful radiance to a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or casual reception.

The dahlia pom-poms appear to float in the air. In reality, they are hung from the ceiling with monofilament.

Registration is required so reserve your spot by calling (815) 942-6880 or stop by the library.

This program is free and open to anyone 12 years of age or older.

The Morris Area Public Library is located at 604 Liberty St. in Morris.
