Fossil Ridge Public Library board members and staff join the mayor of Braidwood, community members and Chamber representatives from the Braidwood Chamber and Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry to celebrate the library’s new bookmobile.

What is your specialty? We satisfy the 21st Century educational, recreational, and literary needs of all ages in our communities with superior service in physical and virtual environments that provide access to the world of social and cultural ideas, and enrich the quality of lives.

What would you like to tell our readers about your business? We provide more than books! We provide programs for all ages, computer training, eBook and e-audio books, free Wi-Fi, tax help, notary service, voter registration, meeting room space, interlibrary loans, Internet access, fax, photo copy, and lamination services. We additionally offer a popular home schooling program that continues to grow. We also have a brand new bookmobile that services neighboring communities.

What are your plans for the future?  We hired an architect recently to provide a renovation master plan for our building.

What other information is important to tell our readers? • Six Flags Great America Bus Trip Wednesday, Aug. 14, 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. $40/person. • We are always looking for ways to help our patrons and the best way for that to happen is for our patrons to let us know what they need.
