Information sought in criminal damage cases

Crimestoppers of Grundy County is seeking information about two incidents of criminal damage to property that occurred last month.

One one is Diamond, while the other occurred in Greenfield Township.

On Tuesday, July 2, between 2:30 and 3 a.m., a large landscape brick was thrown through a window in the residence at 1010 Laura Lane, Diamond.

Between July 20 and July 24, in the areas of Scully Road and Goodfarm Road, several road signs were shot with a shotgun, as was a garage door at a residence. Additionally, a window was shot out of the cab of a John Deere excavator, which sustained metal damage as well.

Callers providing information to the Crimestoppers Line at (815) 942-9667 will remain anonymous. They could be eligible for rewards of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and filing of criminal charges on these or other crimes occurring in Grundy County.
