NEW LENOX — Heartland Education & Research Foundation and Silver Cross Hospital will host the 14th annual cardiovascular symposium for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses.

Participants will learn about new therapeutic agents, innovative diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and emerging concepts for the treatment of cardiovascular disease in an effort to improve outcomes for cardiovascular patients.
The full-day conference will be led by Abdul-Karim, M.D., cardiologist and president of Heartland Cardiovascular Center; Kirkeith Lertsburapa, M.D., and Julie Frommelt, advanced practice registered nurse.
