MORRIS – Because of inclement weather, the Morris Theatre Guild’s first mainstage production of the 2013-14 season, “Proof,” has been extended an additional weekend.

Added performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

David Auburn’s “Proof,” is directed by Mathew Root, assistant directed by Michelle Vrtis and starring Melanie Ruettiger, Joseph Ennenbach, Tricia Thomas and Gibby Kirby.

“Proof” is the story of Catherine, a 25-year-old would-be genius coming to grips with the life she was forced to abandon and the life others want her to live after the death of her father.

Tickets are available by calling MTG at 815-942-1966 or emailing tickets@morristheatreguild.org or online at www.morristheatreguild.org.

Tickets are $15 for adults when bought at the door or $12 when bought in advance.

Those 13 and younger, or students able to show their ID, the ticket price for email, phone or online reservations are $10, otherwise, the adult price applies.
