MORRIS – The Grundy County Woodworkers Club held a raffle Oct. 5. Funds raised from the event went toward the continuing support of the club, which promotes woodworking knowledge in the Grundy area.
Winners of the raffle are:
First prize – Mike Duffy of Wilmington won a bookcase.
Second prize – Linda Tyler of Gardner won a cherry bench.
Third prize – Nancy Wihalski of Lockport won a candle table.
Fourth prize – Steve Barr of Morris won a bird feeder.
Fifth prize – Jerry Pavalous of Morris won a turned pen.
Sixth prize – Rhode Bronk of Morris won a decorative box.
Seventh prize – Duke Beaty of Shorewood won a quilt hanger.
Eight prize – Roy Emerson of diamond won a storage chest.
Ninth prize – Sandy Sowers of South Wilmington won a clock.
Tenth prize – Wendy Speed of Custer Park won a child’s rocking chair.
Eleventh prize – Kris Gantzert of Mazon won a cutting board.
Twelfth prize – Cindy Dunbar of Morris won a trivet.
The Grundy County Woodworkers Club welcomes all ages and genders as members. The club meets the first Wednesday of every month at the First Midwest Bank on the third floor in the community room.
