Spay Illinois announces low-cost pet vaccine clinic in Morris

MORRIS – Spay Illinois has announced it will hold a low-cost pet vaccine clinic every other month at Tailwaggers Grooming salon, 107 W. Illinois Ave. in Morris on the third Monday.

The clinics will be from 4 to 7 p.m. and the first clinic begins Jan. 20.This is a walk-in clinic so no appointment is necessary.

All pet parents, regardless of income or county, are encouraged to take advantage of the clinic, which offers cost-saving wellness packages for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

You can have your dog vaccinated with the rabies vaccine, distemper combo, bordetella and a heartworm test all for $65.

The county tag is not included in the $65. There is never an exam fee when receiving vaccines.

Cat and kitten vaccine packages starting at $20 also are available. Or you can choose just to have rabies or other services.

Illinois residents suffering from economic hardship can also receive additional discounted prices and aid for their pets through the Spay Illinois financial assistance program.
