MORRIS – Pat Cravens, cardiovascular clinical educator at Morris Hospital, will present a free program titled: “Women and Heart Disease: What You Need to Know” from 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Whitman Assembly Room 1 at Morris Hospital.

Many women don’t realize that heart disease is the number one killer of women and is responsible for one in every three female deaths.

During the program, Cravens will talk about ways to prevent heart disease and heart attack, as well as symptoms to watch for, which may be different in women than men.

Women are encouraged to bring their daughters, sisters, mothers and friends.
