Morris cheerleaders make preliminary cut at state

After winning the Mahomet-Seymour Sectional on Thursday with a team score of 86.50, the Morris competitive cheerleading team got third in the preliminary round at the IHSA state meet, finishing with a score of 87.56.

The Redskins will now perform in the finals with eight other teams at 12:35 down at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.

Minooka cheerleading placed 15th in Large Team with a score of 84.96.
