MCHS to offer summer driver education course

MINOOKA – Minooka Community High School will offer a driver education course this summer for area teenagers who do not attend Minooka Community High School. 

The course is open to students who are 15 years old, who live within the boundaries of District 111 and who have completed at least eight high school credit hours.

There are two components to the course – classroom and behind the wheel.

The classroom component is scheduled from June 3 through June 30, and the behind the wheel component of the course will begin June 5, and will end no later than July 3. 

Information and registration forms may be picked up directly from students’ high school counselors (at the school they currently attend).

Completed applications and fee payments are due to MCHS no later than Feb. 27. To request an application, call 815-521-2338.
