Minooka high school to host College Fair

MINOOKA – Minooka Community High School will host its inaugural Grundy Area College Fair from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the South Campus cafeteria. 

More than 30 colleges and universities are scheduled to be present. The event is open to all area high school students. 

Institutions scheduled to participate include: Army, Aurora University, Benedictine University, Blackburn College, Bradley University, Chicago State University, DePaul University, Dominican University, Eureka College, Illinois College, Illinois Wesleyan University, Indiana University, Joliet Junior College, Kalamazoo College, Lincoln College, Marines, Marquette University, Millikin University, Monmouth College, Navy, Northern Illinois University, North Central College, Ripon College, Saint Xavier University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Southern Illinois University, St. Ambrose University, The Culinary Institute of America, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Illinois at Springfield, University of St. Francis and Western Illinois University.

Representatives from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission also will be on hand to offer two presentations: Breaking Down College Applications from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and All About Scholarships from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.
