MORRIS – Grundy Bank is proud of its affiliation with United Way and its nine consecutive years of 100 percent employee participation.
United Way is a tremendous organization that enables Grundy Band to support the area’s nonprofit agencies, according to a news release.
“We are so excited for Grundy Bank and its employees to once again achieve 100 percent employee participation in their United Way campaign,” Karen Nall, executive director of the United Way of Grundy County, said in the release. “This accomplishment shows just how caring everyone at Grundy Bank is about making a difference in their community.”
“They truly live united in making a positive impact in Grundy County,” she continued.
Grundy Bank supports the United Way in numerous ways. Randy Matravers, Grundy Bank assistant vice president, has served on the United Way of Grundy County Board of Directors for the past 16 years.
“I am so proud that we have achieved 100 percent participation for the ninth consecutive year,” Randy Matravers said in the release. “While times continue to be a challenge for many, not to mention the floods of last spring and most recently the Diamond tornado, United Way continues to be there to offer assistance in so many ways, because of the caring people that make up our community.”
The United Way of Grundy County raises funds that support 29 partner not-for-profit agencies that provide vital programs and services for Grundy County residents. The 2013-14 campaign goal is $475,000.
