CHANNAHON – “Children’s Nature Journaling” will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, 25055 W. Walnut Lane, Channahon.

The free program is for ages 8 to 12. Staff will lead children on a nature hike to practice observation skills, as well as learn new sketching and journaling techniques. Participants can be dropped off for the program. However, other activities will be available for parents or siblings while they wait. The program takes place outdoors, so dress for the weather.
